Cable Applications
These cables are designed for electricity supply in low voltage installation systems. They are suitable for installation in indoor and outdoor environments, including cable ducts, underground applications, power and switching stations, local energy distribution systems, and industrial plants where there is no risk of mechanical damage. The lead sheath provides enhanced resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons.
Cable Construction
Conductors: The conductors are manufactured in accordance with IEC 60228 standards and can be either Class 1 or Class 2 of plain or metal-coated annealed copper, plain aluminum or aluminum alloy, or Class 5 of plain or metal-coated copper.
Insulation: XLPE/PVC insulation material and thickness comply with IEC 60502-1 standards. XLPE/PVC material used is Type A as specified in IEC 60502-1.
Outer Sheath: The outer sheath is extruded PVC Type ST1/ST2 as per IEC 60502-1. Alternative materials including polyethylene type ST3/ST7, halogen-free compound ST8, polychloroprene, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, or similar polymers type SE1 are available upon request.
