0.6/1kV Copper Armoured Cable is suitable for use in rated AC voltage (U0/U) 0.6/1kV 0.66KV systems for transmitting and distributing circuits. With the metal armour layer, it is suitable for mains, submain and sub circuits unenclosed, in conduit, buried direct or in underground ducts for buildings.
Used in electric power plants, transformer stations, industrial plants, metropolitan networks and in other electric plants, same as for connection of signaling devices in industry, traffic and similar applications.
Insulation: XLPE or PVC
- Far better than all property targets of PVC insulated power cable
- Overcomes the shortcomings of physical and chemical crosslinkage
- Completely reaches or surpasses GB and IEC technical property values
- Maximum cable conductor working temperature: 90°C
- Emergency excess working temperature: 130°C for short circuit (5s)
- Maximum conductor temperature: 250°C
- Minimum environmental temperature for laying: 0°C (preheating required below 0°C)
- Bend radius: Single core ≥12× cable diameter; Multi-core ≥10× cable diameter
- High current-carrying capacity, not limited by drop during laying
- Single core cable: Non-magnetic wire (aluminium wire or stainless steel wire)
- Two cores, three cores, four cores, five cores: Steel wire or double steel tape
A robust and hard-wearing power cable with copper conductors, XLPE insulation, steel wire armour and a black PVC sheath. Designed for mains electricity supply - for power networks, underground systems, cable ducting, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Particularly useful in external or underground projects. Provides effective mechanical protection and withstands higher pulling loads. XLPE insulation is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and has good thermal stability.
Commonly used across building and construction, rail and transport industries, as well as transmission, distribution and power networks, automation and process control systems.
