Triplex XLPE aluminum aerial cable is designed for low-voltage overhead power distribution, carrying electricity from utility lines to consumer premises through the weather head. Each cable consists of two individually insulated aluminum phase conductors bonded to a bare aluminum messenger wire, which serves as the neutral path and provides mechanical support.

The insulated conductors are covered with black cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) for reliable electrical protection. The cable is rated for 600 V operation and a maximum conductor temperature of 75°C, making it suitable for demanding overhead service applications.
