The U-1000 R2V cable is designed for fixed installations on cable trays, within conduits, or mounted to walls. The armored U-1000 RVFV variant features additional steel tape protection for outdoor use, direct burial applications, and environments requiring enhanced mechanical stress resistance.

The U-1000 R2V cable can be fixed on cable trays, within conduits, or to walls. The U-1000 RVFV variant with steel tape armouring is suitable for outdoor use and direct burial installations where additional mechanical protection is required. Not recommended for burial in areas flooded for more than two months per year or in drainage trenches.
Smaller sizes are available with stranded copper (Class 2) conductors upon request. Available configurations include 2-core, 3-core, 3-core plus earth, 4-core, 5-core, and 7-core copper conductors.
Temperature rating: -10°C to +50°C during installation, expanding to -25°C to +90°C when fixed. Class 2 stranded conductors available on all sizes upon request.
