Quadruplex Aluminum URD Cable is engineered for secondary distribution circuits in duct or direct burial installations. The cable is rated for 600 V and supports a maximum operating temperature of 90°C in both wet and dry locations. As an option, this cable can be supplied pre-pulled into duct.

The aluminum conductor is supplied as either a concentric strand or a compressed 1350-H19 series aluminum conductor. Compressed conductors reduce overall bulk while offering greater strength and toughness. Stranded conductors provide high flexibility and lower electrical resistance, which reduces power loss and simplifies handling in applications where flexibility is essential. The 600 V URD cable contains three aluminum conductors.
A versatile insulation system made of cross-linked black polyethylene secures the cable conductors. This insulation is watertight, repels corrosive substances, and resists oil, heat, and flame. Cross-linking the polyethylene delivers excellent strength, making the material suitable for harsh conditions such as direct burial installation.
