NAYY-J is a four-core aluminum power cable designed for power station applications, featuring PVC insulation and rated for 0.6 KV low voltage operation. Available in sizes 4×25, 4×50, and 4×70.
NAYY cables are preferentially used in outdoor applications, for indoor installations, in the open air, underground and in water where mechanical damage is not anticipated.
- Designed for fixed installation in most applications where mechanical stresses are not anticipated
- Suitable for indoor, outdoor, direct burial underground, in concrete, or submerged in water
- Not suitable for installation in concrete that is shaken, vibrated or compressed
- Available with RE Class 1 solid copper conductor or RM Class 2 stranded copper conductor
- Flame Retardant Polyvinyl Chloride (FR-PVC) sheathing
- Voltage rating (U0/U) of 600/1000V
- Operating temperature range: -15°C to +70°C when fixed, -5°C to +50°C when flexed
- Single or multiple aluminum conductors
- Solid strand to VDE-0295 Class-1 (for #4 AWG and up, VDE-0295 Class-2 strand)
- PVC core insulation with color code to VDE-0293-308 with ground
- Above 5 cores, color is black with white numbers
- PVC (DMV5) outer jacket in black (RAL 9005)
