- The maximum conductor temperature during normal operation of the cable: 70°C for PVC insulation and 90°C for XLPE insulation.
- The maximum temperature of cable conductor during short circuit (the longest duration shall not exceed 5 seconds): PVC insulation - 160°C for conductor section ≤ 300 mm², 140°C for conductor section > 300 mm²; The insulation temperature of cross-linked PVC is 250°C.
- The ambient temperature during cable laying shall not be lower than 0°C, and the allowable minimum bending radius is as follows: single core cable: 20D without armouring, 15D with armouring, multi-core cable: 15D without armouring, 12D with armouring, wherein: D - the actual outer diameter of the cable.
- Cable breaking force: aluminum core cable: 40 * S (N) copper core cable: 70 * S (N) Note: S is the total cross-sectional area of cable conductor.
Flame Retardant Type: Z (A, B, C) - YJLV
AAC (all aluminum conductor) is the most economical bare overhead conductor due to its lighter weight. It offers easier handling during installation and use of simpler fittings. The wire is corrosion resistant due to its homogeneous construction.
