Product Description
Aerial Bundled Cable 80mm Triple Aluminum Electric Cable Overhead ABC Cable
Aerial Insulated Cable for Overhead Applications

Overhead insulated cables are composed of copper or aluminum conductors, inner shielding layer, weather-resistant insulating material and outer shielding layer. These cables combine the power transmission characteristics of power cables with the strong mechanical characteristics of overhead cables.

Compared with bare wires, overhead insulated cables offer numerous advantages including smaller laying span, higher reliability, and superior anti-aging performance. They are actively selected for urban power projects.

Aerial Bundled Cable Overview

Overhead insulated cables, equipped with an insulating layer and protective sheath, represent a new power transmission method between traditional overhead wires and underground cables.

Overhead cables are single-core and can be categorized into various structures including hard aluminum wire, hard drawn copper wire, aluminum alloy wire, steel core or aluminum alloy core support structure, and self-supporting three-core pattern structure.

Key characteristics include high power supply reliability, excellent power supply safety, convenient installation and maintenance, and economic合理性.

Quadruplex Service Drop - Aluminum Conductor

Conductors are concentrically stranded, compressed 1350-H19 aluminum, insulated with either polyethylene or XLPE crosslinked polyethylene. Neutral messengers are concentrically stranded 6201, AAC, or ACSR. One conductor features an extruded ridge for phase identification.

Applications: Used to supply 3 phase power, typically from a pole-mounted transformer to the user's service head where connection to the service entrance cable is made. For use at voltages of 600 volts or less phase to phase and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75℃ for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90℃ for crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors.
