Applications
TACSR conductors are designed for high-capacity power transmission applications where elevated operating temperatures are encountered. Stable at elevated temperatures, TACSR can be safely operated continuously above 150℃, enabling increased current capacity through the conductor.
Construction
  • Inner Core Wire: The center wire or wires are of galvanized steel with outer layer(s) of thermal-resistant aluminum-alloy
  • Material Composition: TACSR conductors are similar in construction to conventional ACSR conductors but use Hard Drawn Aluminum wires of Heat Resistant Aluminum Alloy (TAL) instead of EC Grade Aluminum wires
